Adult Education
Adult Education
Learning is the raising of character by the broadening of vision and the deepening of feeling.
— Mayer Sulzberger
In keeping with the value of Lifelong Learning, Temple Israel offers a variety of opportunities to broaden your vision and deepen your understanding of yourself and your place in the world.
Rabbi Minster maintains a blog that includes many of her sermons as well as her spiritual and ethical writing throughout the year.
She regularly leads adult education classes for the community, including a weekly series during the Hebrew month of Elul to prepare for the High Holy Days.
Please see our calendar for classes, workshops, groups and events to pursue your personal learning goals.
Our community members participate in leading Shabbat services. The ethos of Temple Israel is powerfully expressed by long-time member Alison Harris in her D'var Torah on Community.
