Temple Teens

 

Temple Teens is an events-based program where all are welcome to come and eat, learn, and connect with each other at fun outings, have opportunities to learn from guest speakers from the Bay Area, and participate in community service hours volunteering with local organizations. Temple Israel is a safe space for teens across the East Bay to explore Judaism and gather with other Jewish teens. Our community takes great pride in being an inclusive and safe haven for LGBTQ+ youth and Jews of Color, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and be their authentic selves.

NOTE: After you select how many teens you are enrolling (Section B below), the form will then ask for your teen's name and other information. Those drop-down fields are not visible until you select an enrollment amount. Apologies for any confusion.

Our teen program is expanding and has so much to offer - we hope that our teens will find at least one component that speaks to them and will participate. If there's something that feels missing, please reach out, we'd love to hear from you!
Section A: Family Contact Information
If there is a secondary contact, all emails and mailings will go to both contacts. In case of urgent need, the primary contact will be notified first
Section B: Teen Enrollment Information

The cost per participant is $180. This cost will cover all activities being planned for the 2023-2024 school year.

Section C: Release Forms

I hereby authorize the Administrator, or person designated by the Administrator, to obtain emergency medical care for my teen(s) in the event such care is indicated. I give my permission for my teen(s) to receive emergency medical care by any nurse, doctor, paramedic or member of a medical staff of a hospital licensed by the State of California. I understand that every effort will be made to notify a parent/guardian prior to treatment.

I certify that my teen(s) is(are) in good physical health and up to date on vaccinations.

Section F: Payment Information
There are many impediments to Jewish engagement but finances should never be one. 
Please select the option to charge the enrollment fee to your account when you submit this form. That way, the enrollment process completes without us receiving payment. After we confidentially discuss what you can reasonably contribute, our Children's Fund will help cover the rest of the tuition cost.
