Learning
We affirm the power of Jewish learning to create and deepen Jewish identity and commitment. Lifelong Jewish learning—from childhood through adulthood—brings Jewish values to our daily lives, nurtures spiritual experiences, and both anchors and challenges us to reach out to a world in need.
Educational programming at Temple Israel offers opportunities for congregants to engage in a journey of learning and spiritual growth. Members of all ages are challenged to think, question and contribute creatively to our common journey.
Early Childhood Education. Our Tot Shabbat program gets even our littlest members involved through prayer, music and stories!
Beit Bina Youth Education. Our Beit Bina program offers diverse and inclusive programming that engages learners in the cycle of Jewish life, Torah, social justice, Hebrew, Jewish history, current events and so much more. Beit Bina is now available for online enrollment here.
Adult Education. Learning is the raising of character by the broadening of vision and the deepening of feeling. —Mayer Sulzberge
