Shabbat Services
Shabbat Services
Temple Israel encourages everyone to attend Shabbat Services. Please check the calendar, our Facebook page, and the weekly Haddshote for more information on services. Come experience the joy of Shabbat with us!
Bring the kids! We are a family friendly congregation and children are always welcome. All of our services are open to everyone who wishes to join us.
For all indoor and outdoor Shabbat services: Vaccinations are required - and we will ask for proof. Masks are also required, as is social distancing. Attendees can send a copy of their vax status when they pre-register, or bring their card on Friday night. Children are welcome and if over 2 years old, must wear masks.
Registration by noon on Shabbat is required to attend in-person services.
Shabbat service will also be on Zoom and Live-streamed on our private Facebook page TI Temple Talk for those who are uncomfortable or unable to attend in-person. Please note, you must be a member of the Facebook group in order to watch the live-stream (click here). Please email the office at Office@TempleIsraelAlameda.org for the Zoom link (click here).
We have a number of Shabbat service formats.
- Friday Night Kabbalah Shabbat
- Family Friday Night Shabbat – Led by Religious School Classes
- Family Friendly Saturday Shabbat Services
