Since 1920, Temple Israel of Alameda has been a place of worship, a center for community and an avenue for lifelong Jewish education. As we look to our future with joy and excitement, we also want to remember and celebrate the generations who came before us.

This milestone anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey of Temple Israel, honor the generations who built and sustained our community, and rededicate ourselves to ensuring this community is here for at least another 105 years. Join us!

We were unable to celebrate our centennial in 2020 so we’re making up for that lost time together. We welcome event sponsors and for people to submit memories and well wishes in our tribute book and photo exhibit. Together, we can create a memorable anniversary and build a lasting legacy for the next 105 years.
