We also have many ad hoc groups who focus on such items as our 4th of July parade entry, the High Holy Days, our Menorah Lighting event at South Shore, and Security. New Membership Donation

To cover the many services and program offerings members look forward to throughout the year, it actually costs approximately $360/mo. per member household. Should you wish to contribute more today, we welcome your generosity, but it is not required.

 
Should you be interested in your children or grandchildren receiving a Jewish education, we have an active religious school for them, a Temple Teens Program, Tot Shabbat, and our B'nei Mitzvah Program. Visit the Religious School Page to learn more.

*Capital Campaign / Building Fund: Each family is asked to contribute $1,000 to this fund, which can be spread out over the first four years of membership. This fund covers the upkeep and improvements to our building and facilities. You may donate to this fund now but it is not required. Similar to your dues donation, donating to this fund is also tax-deductible.

Our core belief is that no one is turned away due to a financial challenge. Should you need dues relief or a scholarship for our school, please write our Treasurer at treasurer@templeisraelalameda.org. All such communications are strictly confidential.
