Danielle is on a mission to make Alameda the greenest little city in America by equitably striving for net zero emissions, adapting to climate change and preparing for natural disasters while improving quality of life for all residents and building a resilient, thriving city. Current priorities include: expanding public EV charging, transitioning buildings to run on Alameda’s 100% clean electricity, expanding the urban forest, adapting to sea level rise, seismically retrofitting buildings, and preparing for tsunamis.
